Job Description

As the USCA Business Development Manager - Packaging, you will develop and manage relationships and opportunities to increase PPG's share of wallet strategically targeted US accounts. You will work with all levels of the PPG and customer organizations with the objective of increasing PPG sales to the customer to ensure the business financial goals are achieved.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales and volume at or above plan
  • Develop and cultivate new business pipeline to deliver sales and volume above the plan with both new and existing customers.
  • Interface with multiple customer personnel to promote PPG, gain approvals, and position PPG to be considered for new business at all customer locations.
  • Communicate customer's needs to the various PPG functions and regions.
  • Coordinate functions for issue resolution and escalation
  • Mobilize PPG resources to support customer factories during the launch process.
  • Fully understand PPG's product portfolio (XSBU inclusive) and benefits to ensure value selling
  • Understand the competitive landscape, current gaps and anticipate future gaps to improve PPG's market position
  • Prioritize resource allocation
  • Ensure alignment between regions, function and customer needs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering or similar required
  • 5+ years of experience in diverse roles with demonstrated career progression in sales and marketing
  • Outstanding executive communication skills
  • Computer literacy (world Excel and PowerPoint)
