Job Description The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving sales revenue, gross margin and volume goals. This role will be in charge of managing the profitability of many of the Frozen Division profit centers. This includes providing strategic direction to the retail sales teams, developing pricing strategies for various private label product lines, partnering with R&D to drive product development, actively managing the base business, supporting commercialization teams through launch cycles, identifying and solving various leak points in the P&L.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop and communicate strategies for driving profitable growth with the sales team.
- Develop and execute pricing strategies to increase Monogram's profitability.
- Actively participate in managing Monogram's current frozen business. This entails understanding customer level sales numbers and reviewing all components of P&L leak points.
- Identify new opportunities to deliver value through research and implementation of new technologies.
- Leverage and engage internal and external resources to address projects' scope, priorities and deliverables.
- Successfully communicate and socialize project's objectives, milestones, and benefits.

The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications: Education and Experience: - Prefer 3 plus years of experience managing projects.
- Experience with effectively interacting directly with customers and other business stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills to all levels of management both internal and external.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- At least a BS in Food Science or Related Field of Study.
- Prefer Master's Degree.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environment and inspection (both USDA and FDA).
- Should have a general understanding of Unit Operations and Thermal Processing
- Ability to travel domestically (up to 40%). Overnight travel included.
- Comfortable managing change and dealing with ambiguous situations.
- Must be over 18 Years old.
Competencies and Skills: - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deal with internal and external customers and provide positive solutions.
- Proficient with a variety of computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and specialized software designed to facilitate the tracking of raw materials, finished goods and inventory.
- Hands-on experience preparing financial spreadsheets and extracting data from databases to prepare reports for analysis.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to support all inter-related functions with strong customer service techniques, practices and principles.
- Strong ability to plan and organize work to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively perform multiple, concurrent tasks with constant interruptions.
- Experience working in plant environment preferred
- Advanced user of Excel preferred
- Demonstrated ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at an intermediate level
