You’ll get the chance to grow and thrive through opportunities uncommon in scale and scope, alongside high-achieving teams rich in diversity.Position: Medical Science Liaison, Multiple Myeloma/LymphomaLocation: TX, OKPreferred Location: Dallas, TXThe MSL role embodies our medical mission to be recognized as the trusted partner for internal stakeholders and the healthcare community, driving scientific exchange to enhance medical education, data generation, insight generation and patients’ access to medicine.Key Responsibilities:The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for identifying disease and product related medical needs in a defined geography.Develop and maintain relationships with Community Thought Leaders (TL) and High Disease Burden Healthcare Providers (HCP) within their health care systems.Engage in meaningful scientific exchange to ensure patients have access to BMS medicines and facilitate research.Serve as the medical resource for external stakeholders in academic and community centers.External Environment and Customer FocusDevelop and maintain relationships with academic and community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders.Demonstrate proficiency in using available scientific resources and presentations.Actively assess the medical landscape to understand needs and expertise of TL/HCPs/Access Stakeholders.Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease state initiatives and collaborative research projects.Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings to provide meaningful medical insights.Contribute to the Medical PlanDevelop geography-specific Field Medical and TL Interaction plans based on therapeutic area objectives.Provide Medical SupportEstablish a customer-centric, compliant collaboration with cross-matrix field teams.Support ongoing medical/scientific area and product specific training for internal stakeholders.Provide scientific support at promotional meetings.Participate in assigned Congress activities.Support Clinical Trial ActivitiesSupport Interventional and Non-Interventional Research (NIR) studies.Provide recommendations and insights to clinical development team on study and site feasibilities.Support HCPs in the ISR submission and execution process.Ensure that BMS Pharmacovigilance procedural documents are understood and applied.Qualifications & Experience:MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP with experience in a specific Disease Area or relevant pharmaceutical experience.Knowledge DesiredDisease area knowledge and understanding of scientific publications.Knowledge of clinical trial design and process.Excellent English language skills, spoken and written.Experience DesiredA minimum of 2 years working in a clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment.Prior MSL experience preferred.Good communication and presentation skills.Essential QualificationAbility to drive a company-provided car is an essential qualification of this position.Travel RequirementTravel required.
