About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-in/out procedures, addressing guest inquiries and concerns, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk area.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
  • Efficiently register guests upon arrival, verifying identification and processing payments according to hotel policies.
  • Assign rooms based on reservations and guest preferences (when possible).
  • Issue room keys/access cards and explain hotel amenities and services (Wi-Fi access, restaurant hours, etc.).
  • Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, offering local recommendations and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Manage cash drawers, ensuring accurate financial transactions and following proper security protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional appearance.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate guest records within the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
  • Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • May be required to answer phones, take messages, and assist with wake-up calls.
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures, ensuring guest safety and security.
What we are looking for
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • A positive and friendly attitude with a genuine desire to provide exceptional guest service.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
