We are seeking a Market Development Coordinator to join our team. The Market Development Coordinator will Assist in the execution of business development programs and initiatives to support the Policy & Regulatory practice area and the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry groups, with a focus on driving revenue through targeted client development initiatives. This role will be involved in supporting business development representatives on key revenue-generating activities and will help implement initiatives regionally and nationally.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Business Development team members, Central Marketing team members, lawyers, members of Shared Services and legal secretaries.
Essential duties
- Assist market development professionals across the firm as required in the creation and delivery of lawyer and client-focused communications and deliverables
- Assist in updating practice specific marketing collateral and other marketing and business development resources
- Assist in the planning and execution of sponsorships, seminars, client events, conferences, trade shows, and other firm-sponsored events
- Assist in compiling research on key clients, industries and competitors in the region and/or practice areas, including business trends and competitive landscape
- Draft, edit, and proofread proposals, invitations, biographies, practice content, and brochures, and follow-through on distribution in connection with the Pitches and Proposals Center of Excellence (COE)and other COEs across the Client Growth Department
- Maintain experience databases and assist in data collection from lawyers
- Work on firm and industry rankings and submissions including drafting, follow up, pulling data from various departments
- Assist with meeting coordination and follow up for initiatives relating to practice areas
EXPERIENCE SKILLS REQUIRED
•Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a professional services organization or equivalent corporate environment
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Experience using CRM systems
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
•Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of a team with a positive, can-do attitude
•Ability to follow directions, multi-task, and work quickly within a framework where priorities often shift and/or conflict
•High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through
•Effectively manage and communicate confidential issues
ADDITIONAL ABILITIES REQUIRED
•Flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands or planned events, including occasional off-site events
•This job operates in an office setting and is largely sedentary, requiring the routine use of a computer and other standard office equipment. The ability to open file cabinets, lift files, bend, and stand on a stool may also be required.
Compensation Salary $61,000 - $92,000
The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
