About Us lephante, a stunning new dining destination in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Reservationist to join our team. This pivotal role ensures seamless communication with guests and efficient reservation management, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Job Overview As a Reservationist, you will manage restaurant bookings, handle guest inquiries, and provide outstanding service through clear and efficient communication. You will be the first point of contact for many guests, ensuring their interactions reflect the hospitality and professionalism lephante is known for.
Key Responsibilities - Guest Communication: Handle all reservation inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and care.
- Reservation Management: Create and update reservations in the system, ensuring all details, notes, and preferences are accurately recorded.
- Service Recommendations: Provide guests with information about the restaurant, recommend food and beverage options, and assist with special event inquiries.
- Pre-Payments and Special Bookings: Process pre-payments for reservations and special events when required.
- Confirmation Process: Confirm and reconfirm bookings while notifying the Manager on Duty about overbookings or other concerns.
- Database Accuracy: Maintain and update the reservations database, ensuring all information is correct and aligned with company standards.
- Event Coordination: Forward special event reservations and inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Promotions and Information: Actively promote the restaurant and its special events by providing detailed information to guests.
- Collaboration and Communication: Maintain effective communication with guests and managers, ensuring a seamless flow of information.
- Confidentiality: Uphold appropriate levels of confidentiality when handling guest information.
- General Duties: Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by management and adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental policies.
Qualifications - Education & Experience: Degree or diploma in hospitality preferred, with up to one year of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong written and spoken English, excellent customer service abilities, and proficiency with computer programs. Familiarity with Micros or similar systems is a plus.
- Personality: Outgoing, proactive, and approachable with a charismatic demeanor. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
