Chicago Artists Coalition helps people connect with opportunities including calls for artists, jobs, grants, and art advisingsubmitted by Intuit The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art posted on 12.04.2024 contact Marketing and Communications Manager is dedicated to raising public awareness of the museum and works with the museum’s leadership team and board of directors to build the organization’s marketing strategy.The Marketing and Communications Manager reports to the President and CEO.Salary range: $45,000–$50,000Public RelationsCreate a calendar of public relations activities to execute overall strategyWrite press releases and media advisories about the museum’s exhibitions, programs, renovation and other institutional projectsCultivate relationships with global, national and local arts and culture reporters and pitch relevant stories to the mediaManage partnerships with community and peer organizationsManage institutional rebranding with designers/design firm with support from the board Marketing and Communications CommitteeMarketingCreate a calendar of marketing activities to execute overall strategyConceptualize and execute marketing and outreach effortsOversee the creation of print and digital advertisements and marketing collateral and handle advertisement placementsWork with contractual or volunteer graphic designers to implement art directionServe as webmaster for social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube)Craft digital newsletters and e-communicationsPublicationsAct as the managing editor for The Outsider magazinePrepare the editorial calendar in coordination with the editorial boardIdentify and recruit contributorsOversee advertising sales to support the magazineCoordinate free online access to new and past Intuit publicationsGeneralWork with the education department to ideate, plan and execute virtual and on-site public programsWork with the development department on fundraising communications strategy and implementationWork with the exhibitions department to copy edit exhibition materials and catalogsContribute to the strategic planSupport the President and CEO with board-level communicationsServe as the staff liaison to the board Marketing and Communications Committee, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes and staying in close communications with the committee chairQualificationsBachelor’s degree in communications or journalismProven digital marketing, SEO and social media management experienceStrong understanding of communications strategy and brand frameworksExcellent writing and communication skillsWordPress familiarity a plusTeam playerArt background a plusApplicationTo apply for this position, please send your cover letter and resume to Tina Horton at #J-18808-Ljbffr
