Are you a sales leader with a passion for driving growth and coaching top-tier sales teams? Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a dynamic group of sales professionals in the Bakersfield, CA territory.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead & Inspire: Manage a mid-to-large sales team, pushing performance to exceed quotas and driving profitable sales growth.
  • Recruit & Develop: Build and mentor a top-performing team of sales reps, ensuring they are equipped to meet and exceed weekly targets.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with senior leadership to unlock new local and regional opportunities, positioning our company as a leader in the market.
  • Drive Sales: Lead from the front by prospecting, setting appointments, presenting our powerful value proposition, and closing deals that fuel growth.
  • Be the Bridge: Act as the vital link between your team and executives, providing regular updates and insights on performance, challenges, and opportunities.

What You Need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and a proven track record in business-to-business sales (minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience focused on generating new accounts).
  • 3+ years of sales management experience with a hands-on approach to coaching and developing teams using account management techniques.
  • A strong background in consultative selling, with a focus on building lasting relationships and driving business growth.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, CRM systems (like Salesforce), and sales performance tracking tools.
  • Willingness to travel, including some overnight stays.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background checks.
