SALES MANAGER
Position Summary
Manage and direct sales team to achieve outside sales goals and profits, while developing and executing own personal business model.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and reinforce the corporate sales strategy and design with the sales team
- Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies
- Manage, recruit, train and develop a sales team
- Execute sales through multiple methods of lead generations via marketing, communication and networking
- Utilize CRM and prospecting software to keep track of all your teams daily prospecting
- Evaluate and implement appropriate new sales techniques to increase the company’s sales volume
- Develop and communicate sales targets that promote long-term profitability
- Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and high customer retention
- Resolve clients' concerns in a timely and amicable manner
- Conduct regular market research to maintain an updated knowledge of consumers' needs and competitors' activities
- Participate in industry events to refine your skills and maintain mutually-beneficial business relationships
- Collaborate with Management and team members
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Display and practice a high level of integrity and ethical standards
- Perform other assignments and duties as directed by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 Years of Waste Disposal Industry experience REQUIRED
- 5 Years of B2B Sales Leadership experience
- A proven history of meeting sales targets and boosting profitability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams, Pipedrive a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with a variety of the sale field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
- Willingness to travel to current and target clients, as required
- Strong problem solving, influence, and negotiation skills
- Solid project management skills
- Able to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a self-motivating environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
- Comfortable making presentations regularly and interacting with customers on a daily basis in meetings and via web based interactions
- Collaborate with others effectively
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking
- Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment
- Travel, as required
EDUCATION
- Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience required
