Required immediately, our LOCAL KENT BRANCH is seeking a FULL TIME INVENTORY SPECIALIST FOR OUR MANUFACTURING FACILITY.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage our inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment and be proficient with computers. This role involves receiving materials, maintaining inventory levels, and selling excess materials through various channels.
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and records.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations.
• Identify and sell old or excess materials on eBay, Craigslist, and to local small businesses.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production needs.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to forecast inventory requirements.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Utilize inventory management software to track and manage inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in supply chain management or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with computers and inventory management software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
