Introduction

This is a senior-level position focused on building advanced analytics solutions. As a thought leader within our global analytics team, you will be solving the highest complexity problems for a range of stakeholders, including clients and internal management, to identify improvement opportunities for our claim handling operations and give Gallagher Bassett a competitive advantage in analytics.

How you'll make an impact :
  • Conceive of and design sophisticated analyses to address complex business questions (e.g. root cause analysis)
  • Gather, clean, and organize data for advanced analytical needs
  • Build highly advanced analytical models to quantify the impact of trends and drivers on the organization and our clients
  • Visualize insights in clear, compelling ways for analytics and business partners
  • Design and build analytical dashboards and reports, including PowerBI and Excel, that enable client and internal stakeholders to generate insights
  • put these analytical capabilities at the fingertips of clients and internal stakeholders
  • Create highly polished presentations for senior management as required
  • Establish analytical best practices for the global analytics team

About you :

About you

  • Bachelors degree or higher, with strong academic credentials
  • At least 5-7 years professional experience with quantitative analysis, working in a face paced, deadline driven environment
  • Advanced proficiency in: Excel, SQL, Python
  • Advanced statistical modeling experience, e.g. generalized linear models
  • Experience working with machine learning predictive models, e.g. CatBoost
  • Experience with Access or enterprise database programs
  • Proficient in developing interactive dashboards through business intelligence platforms such as PowerBI
  • Ability to present analysis clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient with PowerPoint

Desired

  • Advanced degree in analytics or related field a plus
  • Insurance industry experience a plus
  • Actuarial background a plus
