Job Description

Assists in various research projects and performs investigative research relating to specific research projects. Assists in carrying out clinical and research activities as directed.

Job Responsibility

• Performs research and/or development work under the guidance of an investigator, associate investigator or assistant investigator.
• Follows and adheres to experimental protocols in a proficient and meticulous manner.
• Develops new experimental protocols, learns new experimental procedures as necessary.
• Responsible for the collection of data and may contribute to the analysis and interpretation of research data.
• Performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, completing correspondence, database maintenance, maintaining records, charts, etc.
• Participates in laboratory meetings and journal clubs as appropriate.
• May provide technical direction to Research Assistants as needed.
• Operates with direct guidance and work assignments are generally straightforward and of moderate complexity.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), preferred.
• Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design, preferred.
• Experience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, and version control (Git), preferred.
• Knowledge of server-side programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java, preferred.
• Experience with back-end frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Django, Flask), preferred.
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, preferred.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Firebase), preferred.
• Ability to manage database security, optimization, and backup processes, preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) for deployment and hosting, preferred.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps practices, preferred.
