Job Title: Litigation Associate AttorneyJob Location: Annapolis, MDJob Overview A reputable law firm in Annapolis, MD, seeks a highly motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. This role involves handling a variety of legal matters, supporting case preparation, and assisting in case strategy. The ideal candidate is a self-driven attorney passionate about developing strong client relationships and delivering top-tier legal services.Duties Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation; prepare, review, and present legal documents to support client interests.Collaborate across practice areas to offer well-rounded legal solutions aligned with client needs.Conduct thorough legal research on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.Analyze legal information and assist in creating effective case strategies.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Prepare and organize supporting documents for court filings, such as exhibits and affidavits.Manage case files, meeting all necessary deadlines for a seamless workflow.Monitor court dockets and deadlines, keeping the legal team informed.Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Assist in preparing trial correspondence, communication, and exhibits.Support attorneys with trial preparation and court proceedings.Summarize depositions and prepare trial materials as required.Identify and help resolve case issues with proactive solutions.Draft engagement letters and assist with client invoicing.Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership and good standing with the Maryland State Bar.Minimum of 1+ years of experience practicing employment law with a focus on litigation.Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Familiarity with National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) rules and procedures.Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.Ability to work collaboratively and lead team initiatives.Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications Active membership and good standing with the Maryland State Bar.Skills Excellent research, analytical, and negotiation skills.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Proficiency in legal document drafting and case management.Organized and detail-oriented with effective time management skills.Client-focused with a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service.Benefits Retirement plan options.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.A collaborative and inclusive work environment with a team-oriented culture.#J-18808-Ljbffr
