Job Summary The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the integrity of the inventory of the company, including non-perishable and perishable departments. As an inventory analyst you will be creating reports to calculate inventory levels, shrink and store's inventory compliance and weekly performance. As part of the duties, inventory analyst is responsible for the use and maintenance of the task management system with a role as Gatekeeper.
ONSITE: This is an onsite position, candidates must be able to report to our Store Support Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA 90040.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Assure that all processes result in the lowest possible variation in inventory forecasts, including: limited out of stock and excess supply scenarios.
- Lead discussions and processes across multi-functional teams to support supply and demand planning integration to ensure business satisfaction as measured by forecasting accuracy and delivering on-time commitments.
- Work collaboratively across various departments to understand business initiatives and support accordingly.
- Reporting and analyzing data to anticipate issues in shrink or inventory
- Coordinating and reconciling physical inventory results for all stores
- Reporting stores weekly performance in inventory operations tasks
- Utilizing Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and present data to senior management
- Supervise and analyze the use of task management system (Reflexis) according to company compliance
- Provide support for Reflexis users, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training
- Analyze and report Reflexis execution rates and trends.
- Develop and monitor KPI's to ensure inventory and system integrity
- Adhere to all company standard operating procedures and policies
- Be proactive in preventing and resolving inventory issues

Qualifications To qualify for this position, must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret, technical procedures, regulations and trends. Must have the ability to read and write and business correspondence, reports, diagrams and memos.
Ability to effectively give and take directions; present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, customers, and vendors. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Must be self-motivated. Must be able to effectively manage data entry in multiple systems.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply common sense to understand, carry out and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Education/Experience - 6 months DAX knowledge preferred
- MS office knowledge required
- Excel expert level required
- High School Diploma, Associates Degree or higher preferred
- 1-2 years in grocery business experience with direct operations experience preferred
- 1-2 years in a supervisory and operational level position preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands Must be willing to travel on short notice for extended periods of time.
Compensation: The starting salary is $68,640 annually. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications, including, experience and relevant skills.
