Role Description: As a vital member of our team, you will likely be involved in handling pre-litigation disputes, dispute resolution, mediation, depositions, hearings, motion practice and client contact. Collaborating closely with our attorneys, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal support and building lasting relationships with our clients.
As an Attorney at The Weaver Law Firm, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, working directly with clients and other attorneys in the firm, and contributing to the overall success of our team.
Manage all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, reviewing pleadings and preparing for and going to trial.
Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management
Conduct legal research and draft complex pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
Consult with clients to determine and address their legal needs.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve cases favorably
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in interactions with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
Contribute to firm growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Stay updated with changes in law, court decisions, and other legal matters that could impact the firm's clients.
Obtain origination bonuses for obtaining new clients.
