KMK Law is in search of a Chief Information Officer ("CIO") who is responsible for all aspects of the firm's information management and technology systems and who delivers results with a collaborative, hands-on approach. The CIO leads the Information Technology Department and provides vision and leadership for developing and executing information technology initiatives that further the firm's business goals and objectives. The CIO is a key business partner to internal and external clients and has a broad focus across the information technology function, including overseeing the base infrastructure, cyber and data security, business facing systems, operations, and leading the IT team.
Job Duties: - Develop and execute a technology vision to achieve the firm's strategic goals.
- Act as key business partner to bring value to the business by implementing innovative technology solutions to support internal and external clients.
- Lead the IT department to deliver best in class service and experience to internal and external clients.
- Gain an understanding of business opportunities and determine and execute project plans that align with firm business strategies.
- Maintain existing technology platforms to support the business of the firm, including timely system upgrades and software implementations that align with the strategic direction of the firm.
- Ensure cybersecurity platforms are best in class and oversee and evaluate system security, backup and business continuity plans.
- Execute and manage IT services with a high degree of client satisfaction.
- Design, establish, and maintain a network infrastructure for local and wide area connectivity and remote access.
- Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment, software, telecom services and subscriptions purchased for the firm.
- Respond to client third-party surveys and evaluate outside counsel guidelines to ensure adherence to firm standards and compliance with insurance requirements.
- Under the direction of firm General Counsel and the Executive Director determine information governance policies and procedures and ensure the execution of these policies and procedures.
- Develop and monitor annual technology budget.
- Work closely with Administrative Directors, Practice Group Leaders, Attorneys and the Technology Committee to ensure that all current and future technology needs are fully met.

Key Qualifications: - Impeccable personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters.
- Highly dedicated customer service orientation, strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clients, partners, attorneys and staff and strong work ethic.
- Proven track record and a minimum of 15 years of progressive work experience directing an IT operation, executing IT initiatives, serving as business partner and developing information security policies.
- Wide knowledge of various computer system characteristics, features and integration capabilities; experience with system design and development.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
- Experience in professional services or legal industry.
- A four year degree in the field of computer science or business administration.
