Boutique law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Defect Paralegal to join their Tampa office. The ideal candidate will support our attorneys in managing construction defect cases, ensuring thorough documentation and efficient case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Assist in managing construction defect cases from inception to resolution.
- Document Review: Review, organize, and analyze construction defect documents and reports.
- Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, experts, and witnesses to gather information and provide updates.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, including organizing exhibits, preparing witnesses, and creating trial notebooks.
- Coordination: Coordinate and schedule depositions, meetings, and court appearances.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including filing, maintaining case files, and managing calendars.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on construction defect litigation.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Hours: Full-time position, with a 140 hour/month billable hour requirement.
