Your Role
We are hiring Materials and Warehouse Associates to support the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment and ensure efficient and organized warehouse operation, at our CDMO in York, PA. Forklift experience is required. This is a W2-Temp position for 1-2 months with potential extension.
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials, products, parts, supplies, and equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support all receiving, shipping and inventory control functions.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records and data entry according to relevant purchase orders or invoices. Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper stock levels for production needs.
  • Safely store materials in designated locations within the multiple warehouse locations. Prepare and pack materials for distribution to production areas according to manufacturing schedules, orders, and identification labels.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all warehouse transactions. Complete required documentation for material movements and inventory adjustments.
  • Proactively provide effective communication across departments to ensure products are shipped and coordinated in a timely manner.
  • Support cold storage requirements and processes.
  • Ensure the department areas are clean, organized, audit / tour ready and free of potential safety hazards at all times.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulations to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance in all warehouse activities.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in warehouse role involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials.
  • Must have valid Driver's License and DMV record.
  • Forklift experience is required.
  • Ability to lift ~ 50lbs in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Working knowledge of material handling processes, issues, and requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experienced with related documentation requirements and data entry. Proficient technology skills, including Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
