We are hiring for:
Residential Unit Clerk
Type:
Regular

Monitors in the homes on 2nd and 3rd shifts as directed by supervisor. Relies on direction and supervision to accomplish tasks.
Pay: $17.00 an hour
Hours: Primarily 4 PM - 12 AM or 12 AM or 8 AM including some weekends
Sign on bonus: $1,000
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors in the homes on 2nd and 3rd shifts using various forms
  • Report all changes in the supported individual's condition to the RN immediately.
  • Report all accidents and incidents observed to the supervisor or manager immediately.
  • Report injuries of an unknown source, including skin tears and bruises. Report defective equipment to the RN.
  • Report all grievances and complaints made by the supported individual to the supervisor or manager..
  • Report all allegations of supported individual abuse and/or misappropriate use of people supported property.
  • Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting people supported into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc if needed.
  • Assist in transporting people supported to/from appointments, activity, and social programs and for out of center appointments, etc., as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Regularly required to lift 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pull a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
  • Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Required to regularly stand and walk.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing, and lifting.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
  • Must be able to talk and hear.
