Job Overview – Administrative Supervisor (BSFT):

Step into a leadership role as an Administrative Supervisor with our client in Bronx, NY. Oversee staff and program operations within the Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) framework, ensuring families receive exceptional, family-centered care. Collaborate with the Program Director and stakeholders to uphold agency standards, drive program enhancements, and support caseworkers in delivering impactful services.

Compensation: $40/hour

Location: Bronx, NY

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities as the Administrative Supervisor (BSFT):

  • Program Oversight: Represent the Program Director, conduct outreach, and maintain ACS communication.
  • Staff Supervision: Coach and guide caseworkers to ensure policy adherence and skill development.
  • Administrative Management: Oversee procedures, casework reviews, and compliance with standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement reviews, surveys, and processes to maintain program excellence.
  • Casework Support: Handle complex cases and assist with Family Team Conferences (FTCs).
  • Emergency Response: Address client emergencies with on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications for the Administrative Supervisor (BSFT):

  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
  • Certifications: NYS Certified Social Worker required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role, with required experience in NYC child welfare.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ACS regulations, policies, and procedures; excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Attributes: Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a commitment to supporting families and staff effectively.
  • Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
