Please visit to view our Statement of Faith and Doctrinal Distinctives .Vice President of MarketingAlliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly skilled Vice President of Marketing to join us in one of the following offices: Lansdowne, VA, Scottsdale, AZ, or Dallas, TX. As the Vice President of Marketing, you are a vital part of the Communications team. In this role, you will report to the SVP of Communications and be responsible for marketing and advocacy strategy, brand architecture and management, website strategy, and the integration of several digital communications tools used by ADF to reach and grow audiences effectively. Acquisition, cultivation, and fulfillment—in partnership with the Direct Response Team—will fall within your responsibility.The Vice President is responsible for powerfully representing ADF's brand and working in accordance with strategic and messaging priorities across the broader Communications Team.Your Essential ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities :Define and execute the overall organization’s digital content strategy, ensuring that objectives are measurable, content is strategic and optimized to meet organizational and key stakeholder objectivesPartner with the ADF social media team, giving feedback on content and strategyDefine and execute the organization’s overall digital content strategy, ensuring that objectives are measurable and content is strategic and optimized to meet organizational and key stakeholder objectivesManage the ADF brand strategy, integrate that strategy throughout the organization, oversee the brand architecture, and grow brand recognition and awarenessDefine measurable KPIs for marketing and web performance and consistently track progress that can be reported to the Executive Leadership Team.Create and execute marketing campaigns that either elevate brand awareness and recognition or effectively drive our message related to ADF legal workAct as the primary accountability stakeholder and decision-making authority for website, email, and other communication initiatives.Create, implement, and measure an organic SEO strategy to increase engagement, web traffic and advocacy, and ministry friend resources to make ADF a household nameIdentify new digital strategies and platforms to grow ADF’s base of supportersWork closely with members of the Direct Response Team to support fundraising initiatives and ensure we meet clear, measurable objectives that continually increase fundraisingEnsure consistency of message and alignment with strategic objectives and the ADF brandBuild lean processes that ensure all digital content is accurate, proofread, tested, fits within the website architecture, and adheres to website and SEO best practicesEstablish and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring website visibility and optimization for various audiencesWork closely with the web team to set website priorities, develop lean testing procedures, and optimize for consistently increasing engagement, cultivation, and conversionEstablish protocols and processes for engaging fast-paced issues and breaking news campaignsUphold the organization’s visual and written standards for content, evaluating content for message consistency and compliance with ADF brand, policies, style, tone, and SEO best practicesCommunication Responsibilities:Ensure that all digital communication products are synchronized across all channelsWork closely with Software Integration and Web Services to capture, report, and present data and analysis on campaign performanceLead and participate in ideation sessions and proactively integrate digital direct response campaigns with other marketing efforts to ensure consistent messaging, visuals, and actionsOther Responsibilities:You will be asked to perform related duties or special projects as assignedBe responsible for making financially bearing decisionsStay up to date with the latest marketing trends, technology, and best practicesResearch competition, investigate benchmarks, and provide suggestions for improvementAs a Team Leader, you will:Oversee an innovative team of marketers, writers, strategists, and technicians to coach, equip, and otherwise ensure the professional development of direct reportsWork to grow an internal team that effectively creates and executes the organizational objectives according to best website practicesCreate measurable KPIs for each team member regarding their focus areaAct as a servant leader by training, encouraging, coaching, and developing your Team MembersFoster a spirit of trust and innovation in your teamMeet regularly with your Team Members to discuss their progress and complete performance reviewsApprove PTO requests, timecards, and expense reportsSkills you need to succeed:Demonstrated proficiency in:Leading a team that is held to standards in messaging, creativity, and KPIsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office and website content management systemsKnowledge of and direct experience with digital marketing and revenue-based campaign componentsFundamental understanding of at least one commonly used project management processesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize, multitask, and achieve deadline goalsEducation and/or experience:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications12+ years working in digital marketing, communications, or fundraisingAs part of your application, please include a portfolio of your work.
