Sesdac is currently seeking a creative, energetic, results driven person for the position of Home Manager. As the Home Manager you will be responsible to manage the day-to-day residential and day services operations of the home. You will also provide on-going development and training to direct support staff members to ensure quality services are delivered.
Duties include training, assistance, and creating opportunities for people with disabilities to become active members of the community. You work to ensure that the individual's environment is clean and safe. You provide assistance with things like cooking, cleaning, personal care, shopping, budgeting, and job coaching. The role is critical supporting people to live as independently as possible.
With your working knowledge of each Individual's Support Plan and safeguards, you implement plans and keep detailed documentation. Throughout all activities, you demonstrate effective teaching techniques and model appropriate communication and social behaviors.
Applicants should be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision; has high energy and commitment to perform the duties of the position and carry out the mission of Sesdac. A successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
