Description The Club Director conducts and manages overall daily operations of the designated Clubhouse in addition to special weekend and evening events. The primary focus is on the programs, service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, budget management, community relations and membership administration for the specified Club. Supervises program staff. Ensures a safe environment for all at all times.
Requirements MINIMIUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or no degree and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- Must pass background check, reference check, and drug test
- Must be able to work and interact professionally
- Valid Drivers License is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Education, Social Work, Social Services, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of direct experience
- May be required to drive a shuttle bus; valid state driver's license may be required.?
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Exemplary written and spoken communication skills
- Demonstrates dependability, accountability, and cooperation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Preferred ability to stand for long periods of time
- Preferred ability to work in various weather conditions-hot, cold, rainy, etc
- Preferred ability to meet physical demands of working with youth
- Preferred ability to move equipment up to 25 pounds
- Preferred ability to endure periodically noisy environments (in the context of working with youth)
- Preferred ability to have adequate vision and hearing to ensure the safety of Club youth
