Oversees roughly 40ish people (all of production, engineering, maintenance, and quality)
- Does not have a shop manager right now. Would like this new VP to help with the hiring or promoting of one.
- Does have leads in machining areas
Salary is around $160k - could be lower or higher based on experiences
Must Haves:
•Manufacturing - Awareness of Metals and CNC
•Finding that engineering is a huge part of this job when it comes too quoting. (current person is very strong on this side)
•Run the business. Looking at hours and making sure that we are not overstaffed.
•Keep a pulse on where staffing is and goals in that regard
•Degree is nice but not required.
•Solid delegation and machining experience.
Job duties:
- Quoting
- Attend daily production meetings
- Customer contacting

- Project and monitor monthly sales number and review with shop floor
- Safety Audits
- Standard Cost evaluations
- Attend lead man lunches
- Evaluate equipment costs and the need for new equipment
- Resource to quality, engineering, customer service, production, maintenance, materials/shipping, and HR
- Resource production
- WWIP adjustments
- RCCP
- Special projects
- Customer meetings
- Personnel recommendations
- Policy recommendations
