- Facility will not consider any contract shorter than 13 weeks
- Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of a position. Maximum attempts is 2: Required for: Ambulance Transport, Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, CVICU, EP Lab, ER, Helicopter Transport (Flight), House Supervisor, PACU/Recovery, PCU, PICU, Pre-op/PACU, Stepdown, Telemetry/IMC, Transitional ICU/TCU units. IF FAILED, will be DNU for 6 months within Commonspirit AZ and Sacramento Region

Job Requirements
- MUST HAVE ICU EXPERIENCE
- MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF PACU experience
- Candidates can NOT work another assignment/contract while working for Dignity AZ (Cannot work two contracts at the same time)
- must be gone from commonspirit for 12 months as perm staff, to be considered for a travel assignment
- DYS EXAM REQUIRED PRIOR TO SENDING CONTRACT - 2 ATTEMPTS, PASSING SCORE 80%, IF FAILED, WILL BE DNU WITH CS AZ AND SAC REGION FOR 6 MONTHS
- All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change. This is for travelers going to St. Joseph main campus &/or St. Joseph Westgate campus. NOTE - SIMs lab is pass/fail & nurses have been termed during SIMs Lab for breaking sterile field. Those travelers that understand sterile field typically pass SIMs Lab skills (See separate notes for the specific checklist IF traveler asks for additional details). The hospital expects that every nurse is competent in these areas, especially maintaining sterile field, as these are nursing skills that are performed frequently. NOTE: if a candidate indicates that they are not competent in either of these areas, they are probably not a good fit.
Schedule Information
- Weekly Orientations, Mondays, except for holiday weeks
- Shifts: 3x12s, no block scheduling allowed
- Night shift: Assigned to a parking garage
- Parking: Assigned to a parking lot, and then will be shuttled to the facility
