    Certification Details
  • ACLS
  • MRT license (specific to Texas for those working with radiological equipment)
    Job Details
  • Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Type of equipment: IABP, Impella, stents, balloons, IVUS, FFR, Ultrasound
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Typical procedures performed: Heart caths, interventions, pacemakers, AICD, Watchman, EP ablations, Peripheral venous/arterial
    Job Requirements
  • Must have IABP Impella experience
  • Interventional Cath Peripheral/Coronary experience
  • Preferred: EP experience
    Schedule Information
  • Day Shift: Varies, see unit information
  • Night Shift: N/A (except for callbacks)
  • 30 minute response time for callbacks
  • On call: Every other weekend; every other night during week
    Unit Specific Information
  • Number of Beds: 2 Cath Labs
  • Number of Staff: 2 monitor techs, 2 RNs, 2 techs
  • Floating Areas: IR
  • Dress Code: Scrub Color / Attire - Navy
