  • Job Summary: RN position in Acute Care Unit at Transylvania Regional Hospital.
  • Job Overview: Provide nursing care in a fast-paced environment, caring for all levels of patients from med/surg to ICU.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have BLS and ACLS completed prior to end of orientation.
  • Preferred: ICU/Stepdown experience, 1 year med/surg experience.
    Schedule Information
  • Weekend rotation, 3 Mondays and Fridays per 6-week scheduling.
  • Holidays per staffing matrix.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit Guidelines: Acute Care utilizes a Team-Based Care model.
    Additional Details
  • Unit Information: Acute Care Unit
  • Number of Beds: 30
  • Number of Staff: 40+
  • Patient Ratios: SD/ICU 2-4:1; Med-Surg: 5-6:1
  • Type of equipment: IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, Lift equipment, Pyxis (nurses only)
  • EMR: Cerner
