Job Summary:
Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is recruiting skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physicians to join our collegial team at Methodist ER Bulverde in San Antonio, Texas.
Qualified Candidates:- Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency-trained
- Strong communication skills
- Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Incentives & Position Details:- 1099 position - up to 120 hours available
- Avg 18-22 patients per 24 hrs. with anticipated rapid growth with staff support to grow as patient volumes grow.
- Shifts: 7a-7p and 7p-7a, 24 hours of physician coverage
- Meditech EMR
Methodist Hospital Stone Oak Bulverde Emergency Room and Methodist Healthcare System:- 12 exam rooms
- State-of-the-art ER is staffed with board-certified emergency room physicians and nurses providing care for adults and children 24-hours a day, 365 days a year
- Fully trained team to handle a variety of adult and pediatric conditions including heart attack, cardiac & respiratory arrest, cardiac arrhythmia, stroke, trauma, seizures, pulmonary condition
- Once stabilized, patients may be transported to a Methodist Healthcare facility in San Antonio, if necessary
