Carrier Clinic, a leading provider of behavioral health services, is seeking a dynamic and experienced physician leader to serve as Chief of Adult Acute Care Services. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of adult acute care within a respected and growing organization.
About the Role:
As Chief of Adult Acute Care Services, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for all adult acute care programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including medical staff, nursing, pharmacy, and therapy services, to drive clinical excellence and achieve organizational goals. This role reports to the Chief Medical Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of medical professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical programs and policies, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, focusing on patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction.
- Manage the fiscal operations of assigned departments, including budget development and monitoring.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and program development.
- Represent Carrier Clinic in the community and within professional organizations.
- Serve as a key liaison with external regulatory agencies such as, Joint Commission, CMS, state, and other applicable regulatory and/or accrediting agencies
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency in general psychiatry or a related specialty.
- Board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN).
- Current medical license and DEA certification.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
