The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a one-year, non-accredited Emergency Department Research Fellowship.
About the Fellowship
This unique opportunity is designed to provide hands-on research training and leadership skills essential for excelling in an academic emergency department. As a Research Fellow, you will:
- Develop a specialty research focus within emergency medicine
- Gain expertise in research collaboration and communication in a translational research setting
- Build leadership skills to prepare for high-level roles in emergency departments, medical schools, and hospital systems

- Emergency ultrasound
- Acute neurological illness and injury (stroke, status epilepticus, traumatic brain injury)

As a Research Fellow, you will work closely with established investigators and a team of research coordinators. Additionally, youll have access to funding and resources to develop pilot projects and pursue an independent research career.

Clinical Component: The fellow will also work 720 clinical hours in a Temple Health Emergency Department.
Candidate Requirements
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine Residency
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine
