  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.
    Job Requirements
  • Hold an active BLS and CA license.
  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in specialty.
  • Must have at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience.
    Schedule Information
  • Shifts: 4 10 hr shifts for PT 7am-5:30pm.
  • Weekend Requirement: will work every 3rd weekend.
  • Holidays: work into perm staff rotation for all modalities.
    Additional Details
  • BLS, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification).
  • Unit: Rehab (PT, OT, & Speech).
  • EMR: Cerner.
  • Charge Nurse: Manager on days available (M-F).
  • Nurse Aides: PT aides - usually one on Sun, Mon, Tues, 2 on Wed-Sat.
  • Scrub Color: polo style shirt or a button down long sleeve (burgundy in color) that is provided through vendor through hospital staff if wanted, dark (solid) pants, no scrubs allowed.
  • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: hosp 24/7 yes.
  • IV Team: No.
  • RT 24/7: Yes.
  • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes.
  • Floating: No floating.
  • Floor specific orientation: 8 hours of orientation for all modalities.
  • Open to first time travelers.
