Skilled Nursing Facility is hiring a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Rockland County, NY.
We are offering a $7,500 bonus for this position! DUTIES: - Assist in managing and maintaining high-quality care services
- Lead weekly Wound/Skin Rounds
- Support compliance efforts and ensure effective communication with nursing staff at all levels
- Address the nursing medical needs of all residents
- Be available 24/7 on call
- Oversee the planning and coordination of nursing services
- Maintain a solid understanding of general nursing theory and practice
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff
- Supervise and manage daily staffing needs
- Assist with infection control efforts
- Remain flexible with work hours to accommodate unforeseen needs
REQUIREMENTS: - Current RN license in the state
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care settings
- At least 2 years of management experience preferred
- 1 year of experience in staff education preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
- Flexibility in scheduling required
