  • Unit Information: IR – SPECIAL PROCEDURES (727)
  • Facility: HCA Florida Kendall Hospital
  • Address: 11750 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33175
  • Number of Labs: 5
  • Patient Ratios - 1:4 Ratio in holding, depending on acuity
  • Type of Equipment: GE Imaging
  • Documentation System: MacLab and Meditech
  • Call Requirements: Must arrive in less than 30 minutes when called in.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have RN license
  • ACLS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • RCIS or any procedural/cardiology-centered certification
  • Vascular IR procedural experience
  • Knowledge of Cath Lab/IR protocols and procedures
  • Neuro-interventional experience
  • High-level communication skills
    Schedule Information
  • 4x10s shift schedule
  • Monthly call shift burden: goal = <15
    Unit Specific Information
  • Full scope of Interventional radiology procedures, including structural (TAVR, Mitra Clip), Carotid stenting, Peripheral arterial cases, Lumbar punctures
    Additional Details
  • Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Number one HCA stroke center in the Company June 2022, July 2022
  • Huddle calls daily, development of relationships with Director, staff and patients paramount
