  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC (REQUIRED)
    Job Details
  • Beds: 39 – MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU – mixed unit
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred
  • Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from Surgical, Medical, Cardiac, Neuro and Trauma
  • Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) – acuity dependent
  • Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management.
    Job Requirements
  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
  • 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred
  • Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility.
    Schedule Information
  • Weekend rotation: Every other
  • No call schedule
  • No RTO during holidays
  • Up to 7 days off – must extend to accommodate a full 13-week contract.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Epic experience required for ED & ICU
  • CNA: 1-2 Nurse Aide’s per unit + mobility float aide
  • Charge nurse: 2 CRN’s oversee all ICUs
