- MUST HAVE Certification as an APRN through the AANP or ANCC

Pediatric Nurse PractitionerThe Pediatric Nurse Practitioner provides care and physician support during the treatment of pediatric patients. Job Duties: Provides care to infant, child, or adolescent patients in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions. Obtains patient history, screens patients to ensure appropriate physical/mental development, administers immunizations, orders tests or scans, diagnoses illnesses, prescribes medicines and outlines and monitors courses of treatment.
