About the Position

The Geriatric Medicine Physician Assistant will be working at a large FQHQ in a medically underserved community focusing mainly on senior patients. You will need to be comfortable treating adults during evaluation, treatment, and management. Although many patients will come to you with acute issues, you will also need to screen for all chronic diseases. Although you will have scheduled hours to work in the clinic, you will also need to be available for on-call services as required in addition to clinical or operations-related meetings that may take place after-hours.

Requirements

  • Completion of a program with an accredited school
  • Current license from the Texas Board of Nursing or Texas Physician Assistant Board
  • Active DEA
  • 2 years of paid experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking), preferred
