Position Purpose:
- Registered Nurse will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork, is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization

- Hours of office: 7:00a -6:00p on Mondays/Wednesdays and 7:00a -3:00p on Tuesday/Thursday (36 hours per week)
What You
- Provides direct care to cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients by performing functional testing, monitoring and interpretation of patient's response to exercise. Performs telemetry monitoring, 12 lead EKG interpretation, vital sign monitoring, and risk factor education, stratification, and modification.
- Perform clinical chart review of medical records to develop an individualized treatment plan.
- Responds to emergency situations and implements emergency medical procedures when appropriate.
- Maintains client records including, but not limited to, the results of cardiac, exercise, and fitness testing and client/patient treatment and progress.
- Responds to emergency situations and implements emergency medical procedures and emergency orders per policy when appropriate.
- Communicates pertinent clinical information and collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers regarding patient care, treatment, and/ or plan of care.
- Demonstrates the ability to assess problematic situations and initiate appropriate plan of action in an environment which has limited support systems.
- Willingness to work with patient in a setting that promotes cardiovascular wellness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
- Experience: One year experience in a medical office preferred
Experience: 2+ years Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab experience or nursing practice in one of the following clinical areas, CCU, ICU, ED, within the past four years.
Certification: BLS and ACLS required.
