The Cardiovascular Physician Assistant provides comprehensive management for Heart & Vascular patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. They collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure effective care and establish relationships with patients and their families. With a focus on compassionate care, they apply independent judgment to enhance patient outcomes throughout the treatment process.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) shall provide compassionate, comprehensive management of our Heart & Vascular patients according to privileges approved by the Medical Staff Office and established clinical protocols in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The APP has responsibility, authority and accountability for the provision of care through supervision by and collaboration with a physician. The Advanced Practice Provider manages and provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgement, communication and collaboration with all team members. The APP establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, other health care providers, patients and their families, to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care. The APP shall work under the supervision of a physician.
