We are actively seeking an experienced gastroenterologist and physician leader to serve as the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program Director.
The Program Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program is directly accountable to the Designated Institutional Officer (DIO) and the Chair at the training site where they are primarily based/employed. The Program Director will be provided with the required protected, non-clinical time dedicated to administration of the program. The Fellowship is a three-year, six fellow program with initial accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
As a clinically active gastroenterologist, this physician leader will play a vital role in our growing gastroenterology division. Our team is committed to delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, encompassing a wide array of services with continued growth into general and interventional fields. The primary clinic location is located on the campus of St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This team practices in a 571-bed academic, Level 1 trauma, medical center and attached clinics with support from Hepatology, Liver transplant, Advanced Endoscopy Services, General Surgery, all Surgical Subspecialties, Pathology, and Radiology. Be part of an expanding team of existing Gastroenterologists with APP support within the clinic setting.
