The position is for a full-time Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist focusing on internalizing disorders and medically fragile children. Responsibilities include outpatient care, covering a 12-bed inpatient unit, and participation in the psychiatry residency program. PRACTICE DETAILS
Full-time outpatient position
Hospital-Employed
Focus primarily on internalizing disorders and comorbidities
Additional Emphasis on medically fragile children, and children with eating disorders
Cover a 12-bed inpatient unit and new consultations from other departments on a rotating basis
The department provides outpatient care for patients referred from the heart transplant and advanced heart failure programs, end-stage renal disease and kidney transplant programs, hematology/oncology, diabetes and gender-based endocrinology, and cystic fibrosis programs.
The incoming physician will also be faculty in the general psychiatry residency program
Psychiatry residency and C&A Fellowship on-site
Research opportunities exist and are encouraged
