TinkBird is actively seeking a Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner for Greenville, North Carolina Locums provider should have at least 2 years of ICU experience. Cardiac ICU experience is preferred.

Coverage needed for the next 7 months post credentialing completion.

Schedule

• Coverage needed includes 12-hour shifts every 28 days
• Primary need is for nighttime coverage-7pm to 7am
• Options include 3 4 night shifts per week or 7 nights per week depending on locums preference
• Opportunity exists to work weekend day shift 7 am to 7pm

Job Highlights and Clinical Responsibilities

• 24-bed state of the art ICU
• Established team with high quality academic intensivists.
• Ability to perform procedures including:
• Arterial Lines
• Central Venous Lines
• Intubation
• Ventilator Management
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans and order diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in line with scope of practice provider must have a DEA license.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care
• 120 bed facility for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery.
