  • We're a welcoming, resilient team of 18 physicians and four APPs, who work closely with other hospital staff and departments at Lourdes Hospital to bring the best possible quality of care to our patients.
  • Our team is comprised of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who are supportive and have a collaborative nature with other staff and departments.
  • Many clinicians on the team are active on hospital committees, which helps solidify our relationships with specialists and our very supportive C-suite.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine trained physician
  • We proudly sponsor J1 and H1B visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.
Practice in the Hearth of the Community

Scheduling:

  • Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
  • Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding patients, discharging when appropriate, an occasional admission and participating in multidisciplinary rounds.
  • The hospital has a co-managed ICU with intensivist support, no procedures or vent management required.
  • Our team performs geographic rounding when possible
  • Our hospitalist team is part of the rapid response and code team - we're all certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. The intensivists will provide support.
  • Our team meets monthly to keep everyone abreast of what is going on in the field of medicine, at the hospital, and with Sound Physicians.
  • We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.
  • We use EPIC EMR and have access to our own internal informatics platform.
