Job Description: CT Tech

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist (CT Tech) to join our team. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans of various body parts, including the head, chest, abdomen, and extremities, according to physician orders and safety protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Prepare and maintain CT equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition and adhering to safety standards.
• Administer contrast agents as required, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to discuss imaging findings and any concerns related to patient care.
• Maintain patient records and imaging data in the electronic medical record system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Stay current with advancements in CT imaging technology and techniques through continuing education and training.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification in CT from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification.
• Current state licensure (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific imaging protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, family members, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting, preferably with experience in CT imaging.
• Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques and the ability to work with cutting-edge CT technology.
