Large Hospital in Southeastern CT seeks 1-2 OBGYN Laborists as soon as possible. This position involves 2 14-hour shifts weekly (5p-7a) and 1 weekend day per month. Laborists would be responsible for private practitioners and patients who walk in through the ED. The Hospital does about 800 deliveries annually, has 8 providers who admit to their facility, and has backup support from a large MFM group of 8 providers, 1 UroGyn and 1 GynOnc physician. The hospital has a level III nursery and all services in-house including anesthesia and pediatrics. They have LDRP suites and c-section rooms and they are a "baby-friendly" designated hospital.
