There is a Medical Officer of the Day (MOD) that is responsible for patients. He/she will not leave the medical center grounds during the tour of duty or after completion of tour of duty, unless relieved by another physician, working as MOD. The MOD physicians will carry a pager at all times during the assigned tour of duty and wear the Government furnished picture ID badge.
