REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, in good standing or the ability to obtain is required.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner AND Family Nurse Practioner education training program is required.
  • The ability to prescribe controlled substances and a current DEA license in California is required.
  • Previous experience with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and prescribing/maintaining Suboxone tapers is preferred.
  • Prior experience with addiction, dual-diagnosis, integrated care model, and/or psychiatry is preferred.
