About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Internal Medicine
- Schedule:7 days on; 7days off
- Hours: 40 a week
Responsibilities:The Internal Medicine Hospitalist will be responsible for:
- Supervisingresidents on a busy inpatient service
- Managing patients through the continuum of hospital care, including requesting appropriate tests, medication management, specialty consults
- Coordinating the care of nursing and support staff
- Writing discharge and follow-up notes and communicating with the patient's Primary Care Physician
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine
