Valley Health is seeking an Acute Care/Trauma Surgeon for its Winchester Medical Center, a Level-II Trauma center. The position involves working 12-hour shifts in a state-of-the-art facility, which includes a 48-bed Intensive Care Unit and a 60-bed Emergency Department. Successful candidates should be board-certified or eligible in general surgery, with a team-oriented approach to patient care.

Valley Health is searching for an Acute Care/Trauma Surgeon for Winchester Medical Center, located in Winchester, VA- right in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley!

Winchester Medical Center is the central campus of a six-hospital system which hosts a Level-II Trauma center.

  • State of the Art Operating Rooms
  • A 48-Bed Intensive Care Unit

Applicants should be board-certified/eligible in general surgery - surgical critical care fellowship preferred, but not required.

Acute care surgeons work 12-hour shifts that are a rotation of day and night
