On Psychiatric Adult Treatment Unit (PATU) the average patient volume can be 10-15 per day. Provider will not be admitting from the Emergency Department(ED). Provider may be required to do direct admissions from the regional hospitals. Regional admissions are coordinated through in house transfer center. Locums are not on call during non-business hours, covering scheduled assigned shifts only. PATU treats patients aged 18 and up. PATU has a need for 1 provider every Saturday and Sunday from 8a-5p typically.
