Seeking Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join team near Myrtle Beach, SC.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Outpatient clinical role no inpatient
- Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm)
- Protected administrative time ( 5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)
- 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
- Call Schedule: Minimal, shared among all providers on a 1:7 to 1:8 rotation
- Cerner EMR
- Support Staff: The APP will have a dedicated nurse and access to support from medical assistants.
PATIENT VOLUME & CENSUS:
- Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day
- Patient Census: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases
- Demographics: A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc.
VISIT TYPES:
- Visit Types: Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc.
- Typical Procedures: In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and women s health screenings.
